Attack Motorsport ISRT Code of Conduct

Every team member is expected to acknowledge that they have read and accept these rules. If you are unwilling to abide by our Code of Conduct we respectfully ask that you leave the team and we will harbor no ill will.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Rule 1.  Although we are not exactly a 'politically correct' or 'family friendly' kind of group, there are some things that we simply will not tolerate.  First and foremost of these things is racism or ANY form of racist speech.  Our aim is to be a truly international team and as such we will be inclusive to EVERY nationality.  No exceptions.

Rule 2.  We do not talk about politics.  We are not affiliated with any political party and we do not care who you voted for or which party you align yourself with.

Rule 3.  When involved in team events you must take it upon yourself to avoid contact with other team members.  YOU are solely responsible for your own situational awareness and car control.  If there is any doubt about your opportunity make a pass DON'T ATTEMPT IT.  The right opportunity will present itself.  Be patient.

Rule 4.  When qualifying for ANY event it is solely your own responsibility to find clear track to make your hot lap unless the track dictates that you must have slipstream for a fast lap.  We all know that there are too many drivers who want to treat qualifying like it's a full blown race.  It is your responsibility to keep yourself clear of other qualifying cars.

Rule 5.  In any event race you will conduct yourself in a manner that does not reflect badly on the team.  We understand that circumstances sometimes dictate that a lesson be taught to a particularly dirty driver, but that will only be excusable under extreme circumstances.  UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES will any member take a track incident into a private message unless it is to respectfully speak to the person about it.  Threats or anything similar is unacceptable.

Rule 6.  If at any point your on-track actions result in a suspension handed out by Polyphony in a Gran Turismo race, you will be IMMEDIATELY REMOVED from the team.  No exceptions.

Rule 7.  All members must remain on the "A Message From Your President" PSN forum.  Removing yourself from this forum will remove you from the team.

This Code of Conduct can and very likely will be amended by the Board of Directors at their discretion.

Nitro Motorsport Probationary Team

Nitro Motorsport was created to monitor recruits to the ATK family.  It gives the team time to evaluate and even help new team members.  It also allows new recruits to see if we are a good fit for them before they join ATK.

NITRO MOTORSPORT

All new recruits will be assigned to the Nitro Motorsport division of Attack Motorsport ISRT.  They will stay on the Nitro team for no less than 90 days.  No exceptions.

Nitro members are required to attend six team lobbies and six party chats during the 90 day probation period.  Party chat attendance is valid even if you don't have a mic.

After the probationary requirements above are met, Nitro members desiring to be promoted to ATK are then required to race and cleanly beat our Founder or President at Spa in a Gr3 Gran Turismo Sport or Gran Turismo 7 duel-lobby.  If successful, you will be offered a full promotion to ATK.  If not you will remain a Nitro member until such time as you can pass.

Nitro recruits will wear Nitro logos as per below.  All ATK logos and slogans are off limits until the recruit has earned ATK status.

Attack Motorsport ISRT Liveries, Decals and Slogans

We are very proud of our team and expect all team members to abide by the standards below.

LIVERIES, DECALS, AND SLOGANS

We have always based our team on the idea that we allow people to be individuals.  That is why we never created or expect team members to wear a standard team livery.  We know that everyone likes something different when it comes to paint schemes.

Knowing this, we created a standard team logo.  This way our members can keep their individuality while displaying team loyalty when on the track.

OUR TEAM LOGO MUST BE FULLY DISPLAYED ON EACH CAR as per below.  This not negotiable.

1.  We, Attack Motorsport ISRT, are to be treated as your primary sponsor.  As such, our official  ATK/Nitro team-appropriate logo is to be the most fully visible decal on your car.  We sometimes see that our logo is hard to discern amidst all the wonderful art and design on cars.  The logo will be prominently placed on the side panels in colors that contrast your paint scheme.  That doesn't mean it has to be, for example, hot pink on a black car.  It merely means it needs to be visible enough to stand out, i.e., prominent, i.e, way more visible than any other logo or decal on the same panel.  Example 1: a black car with a dark gray logo is not acceptable.  Example 2:  our logo scrunched in with other logos of similar size is NOT prominent and must be adjusted as per above.  Other logos are not to compete with our team logo on any car.

2. An official or variant appropriate team logo must be placed on the hood.

3. Variant and or official ATK/Nitro team logos can be used anywhere as can appropriate team slogans.

4.  Nitro and ATK logos/slogans are not to be used on the same car.  Again, Nitro members are prohibited from using ATK logos and slogans, i.e, Attack The Track or 'ATK'.  ATK members must not mix Nitro and ATK logos/decals on the same car.

5. Some software, like Gran Turismo Sport, automatically place a number badge on the sides and sometimes hood of the car.  Our logo must not be covered by those number placards.  Adjust the artistic design of your car as needed so our logo is fully viewable.

We are very proud of what we created.  Our reputation of fast and clean drivers has been noticed by some of the bigger names in SIM racing.  We are seen whether we realize it or not.  Wear those logos and slogans proudly!

Participation and PSN ID's

PARTICIPATION

Participation with this team doesn't necessarily mean racing.  Even though we love seeing our logo flying on track, we understand that priorities differ during different seasons of life and may prevent team members from racing.  As such we count interactions on our message boards as viable team activity.  So even if you are unable to race, a reasonable amount of interaction via our chat groups is sufficient.

We do not have a strict definition of what a reasonable amount of interaction is.  But a good start would be a few times a month or at least let us know if you're going to be away for a while.

PSN ID's

We make no requirement of our team members to add the ATK_ or NMS_ prefix to any PSN ID.  Team members are free to use any PSN ID they desire.  Changing your PSN ID is STRICTLY VOLUNTARY.  We know that many have had the same tag for many years and we would not be so presumptuous as to expect someone to change it unless they want to.
